The Cottage
The bedroom serves as a calming escape, featuring rich fabrics and blackout drapery to ensure deep rest after any shift.
Our Kitchen is large enough to please the most discerning Chefs. Exercise your culinary skills with plenty of herbs and spices available. Or just zap a quick meal in the nice sized microwave.
Beautifully glazed dishes. They have an irregular appearance with small specks of iron showing the artful firing method used for centuries, which makes them special.
Flat wear are ergonomically well balanced.
Glassware for any occasion.
Small appliances: Coffee Maker, Microwave, George Foreman Grill and Toaster.
Canisters filled with Coffee, Flour, Sugar, and a variety of Tea.
Knives, pots and pans, cooking implements and food storage items.
*** Cutting Boards ***
Although the counters are butcher block, they are lovingly hand crafted with smooth surfaces so they are not to be used for food prep. Please use the supplied cutting boards only for slicing food so as not to damage the counters.
Linens are supplied for Kitchen and Bath.
Bath towels are new, brightly collored and should be washed seperately on cold setting to prevent color bleeding on to clothes, etc.
Old cloths are great for cleaning really messy whatever. Just toss them away, There are more if you need, Just ask.
Washer and Dryer are full sized front load. Leaving the washer door slightly open to air dry will prevent mold.
Watch for lint. The vent leads to outside and could clog if there is too lmuch. Sounds simple, but it happened to me when I forget. lol
Supplies: Small Vacuum, Broom & dustpan, Laundry Soap, Dish Soap, etc. If you run out, let me know.
My son crafted the wood counters with lots of love and patience to make our country cottage feel just like a real home. I think they are beautiful.
